Terms and Conditions of Use for the Points Scheme (MePoints)

1. Object and scope

1.1. These Terms and Conditions constitute a contract for the use of the GAMEPLAY online store points system, between the company "Positive Connections, Lda." represented by the GAMEPLAY brand and the CLIENT, and apply to all users of the website www.gameplay.pt.

1.2. Any use of points presupposes acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

1.3. Points are called MePoints.

2. Accumulation of Points

2.1. MePoints are awarded on the purchase of items on GAMEPLAY and shipping costs are not taken into account for the accumulation of points. Each 30.00 (thirty) euros in purchases of products on GamePlay (shipping costs excluded) entitle the holder to 150 (one hundred and fifty) points.

2.2 In the event that the order is to be picked up at a physical shop, at the time of pick up the customer can choose to collect MePoints on their customer card (physical card) or their customer account (digital version).

2.3 MePoints will be credited the day after the order is dispatched or picked up in physical shop.

2.4 The customer who receives MePoints on the physical shop customer card will automatically have their digital MePoints in the status: 'cancelled' or 'awaiting validation'. These MePoints will never move to the validated state because they have been assigned on the physical store card.

2.5 You can collect MePoints when you purchase a gift token. However, when you use a gift token on an order, you will only receive MePoints in proportion to the total value of the payment you make.

2.6 GAMEPLAY reserves the right to change the point awarding ratio at any time, such changes resulting in an update to these terms and conditions.

3. Conversion of Points

3.1. Points have no monetary value. MePoints can only be converted into a voucher.

3.2. You can convert 1500 (one thousand five hundred) points into a discount voucher worth 15.00 (fifteen) euros.

4. Use of Vouchers

4.1. Each discount voucher worth 15.00 (fifteen) euros can be used in a minimum order of 60 (sixty) euros (shipping costs excluded).

4.2. In the order in which you discount a voucher of 15.00 (fifteen) euros, you will also receive points corresponding to the amount of your purchase, actually paid, after the voucher has been discounted.

4.3. It is not possible to use the voucher resulting from the conversion of MePoints with other vouchers at the same time.

5. Expiration Dates

5.1. The validity period of MePoints is 2 (two) years.

5.2. The validity period of the vouchers, after converting the points, is 2 (two) months.

6. Transmissibility of Points

6.1. Points are awarded directly to the customer account associated with each order and cannot be transferred to another customer's account.

6.2. It is not possible to transfer points from the customer account at www.gameplay.pt to the customer card of the physical store and vice versa.

7. Product Returns and Exchanges

7.1. If there is any exchange or partial return of an order where points have been awarded, there will be a readjustment of the points in accordance with the readjustment of the final value of the order.

7.2. In the case of a total return, the points awarded to the order that was returned will be cancelled.

8. Responsibility

8.1. GAMEPLAY cannot be held responsible for the improper use of the points system by the customer.

8.2. GAMEPLAY reserves the right to suspend the account of any customer if it suspects a misuse of the points system.

9. Changing the Terms and Conditions of Use of the MePoints Points System

9.1. GAMEPLAY has the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time.

9.2. The CUSTOMER is subject to the Terms and Conditions in force on the date of his order.

9.3. All changes will be published on www.gameplay.pt.
