É o amanhecer de uma nova era na terra de Ethnos. Os últimos governantes deixaram os seis reinos sem liderança e espalharam as doze tribos antigas em toda a terra. Em Ethnos, os jogadores irão recrutar diferentes cartas de tribos nas suas mãos, agrupá-las e jogá-las para ganhar o controlo de um dos seis reinos ao longo de três eras.
