The trays are arranged in up to three layers, with the main part of the insert taken up by a large card tray.

The insert can be placed in either the base game box or any of the large expansion boxes.
It also has two different layouts depending on whether you need more token storage or more game mats.

The main tray is for cards, and it has various recesses in it to eases access to other trays and allow for storage of mats.
All the card trays are sized for sleeved cards.

There is an alternative layout intended to maximize storage space for small tokens.
The two additional token trays are added in the lower right corner on top of the two triangular fill trays.

The mats that come with the expansions can be stored in a number of ways depending on how you want to use the insert.
They can be placed in a stack in the bottom and the second triangular tray can used to hold them in place.
Alternatively they can be placed on top of the cards in the main card tray, where the dividers have a special recess sized to store them.

When packing the box, first place the Trash board on top of the large card tray in the recess provided for this.
Then place the rule books on top. This fills the box completely and allows for vertical storage.
