Description
Prospector ou governador, conselheiro ou construtor? Que papéis você exercerá no novo mundo? Você terá apenas um objetivo: adquirir tanta riqueza e fama quanto for possível. Quem terá as instalações de produção que gerarão mais lucro? Quem construirá os edifícios mais importantes? Quem conseguir mais pontos de vitória será o vencedor. O jogo desenvolve-se em vários turnos. Em cada turno, cada jogador escolhe um papel de entre cinco papéis diferentes e todos os jogadores executarão a ação correspondente, em sentido horário. Então, por exemplo, bens serão produzidos pelo produtor e vendidos à casa de trocas pelo comerciante. Com o dinheiro ganho nessas vendas, os jogadores podem construir edifícios em San Juan com o construtor. O jogador que fizer a melhor escolha de papéis e utilizar melhor os respetivos privilégios por certo levará vantagem para vencer o jogo.
