Legendary Encounters: An Alien Deck Building Game é baseado nos quatro filmes da série Alien e é um jogo totalmente cooperativo com arte original. Embora baseado no jogo de super-heróis Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game, os dois jogos serão compatíveis, mas não podem ser totalmente integrados. Agora os jogadores devem cooperar para sobreviver contra hordas de aliens. Assumindo o papel de protagonistas como Ripley, Dallas, Bispo e Corporal Hicks, os jogadores revezam-se recrutando cartas para o seu baralho de uma seleção central para melhorar o seu deck e derrotar as cartas Xenomorph que são adicionadas ao tabuleiro central.
