No alto de um castelo vive um velho fantasma. Pé ante pé, um grupo de corajosas crianças começa a subir os degraus íngremes. Todos querem chegar ao topo em primeiro lugar e assustar o fantasma com um grande "BUUUUU!!!" Mas o fantasma já conhece este jogo, pelo que enfeitiçou a escada para que as crianças, à medida que vão subindo, também se transformem em fantasmas. De cada vez que um jogador lança o dado e sai um fantasma, pode colocar um fantasma sobre o peão de qualquer jogador à escolha. Une-os uma misteriosa força magnética: o peão desapareceu! Agora só há que lembrar sob qual fantasma está o peão. Se todos os peões já se transformaram, sempre que o dado mostre um fantasma, trocam-se as posições de dois fantasmas. O vencedor será aquele que consiga recordar-se onde está o seu peão, apesar de toda a confusão, e chegar ao último degrau com o seu fantasma.
